Total Persada Net Profit Up 44 Percent

By the middle of this year, PT Total Bangun Persada Tbk (TBP) booked a profit worth Rp.50.83 billion, up 44.6 percent compared to last year’s net profit of Rp.28.17 billion. This achievement is hoped to support the year’s net profit target of Rp.105 billion, following the company’s 20 new projects where 9 out of them will start in 2006. Total Bangun is the 340th company to record its shares in the Jakarta Stock Exchange, and the 7th company to enter the stock market this year. In the trade yesterday, the stock coded TOTL was trade was valued at Rp.360, down Rp.10 (2.7 percent) compared to the closing value last week.

PT Total Bangun Persada hopes that it could finish around 31 big and small projects with a contract worth Rp.2.3 trillion this year. The projects include The Peak (an apartment building behind Chase Plaza, Jakarta) worth Rp.480 billion, Pearl Garden in Jakarta worth Rp.121 billion, The Pakubuwono in Jakarta, The Cambridge in Medan worth Rp.150 billion, BSD Junction worth Rp.228 billion.
