Semen Gresik’s and Indocement’s Shares Pursued After

The temporary suspension of PT Semen Cibinong Tbk.’s share trade by the stock exchange pushed investors to pursue the shares of PT Semen Gresik Tbk. and PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. The Jakarta Stock Exchange suspended Semen Cibinong’s shares after the mass media stated that the cement factory has stopped operational activities in the Cilacap factory. Holcim Ltd. now runs the factory there. Semen Gresik total shares that are actively transacted amounts to 33 thousand shares, or worth Rp 571.65 million. As a result, the state-owned cement company’s share value increased Rp 300 (1.16%) from Rp 17,000 to Rp 17,300 per share. The total Indocement shares that are being traded are 1.32 million shares, or worth approximately Rp 3.62 billion. The value of Indocement’s shares also increased Rp 75 (2.80%) from Rp 2,675 to Rp 2,750 per share.
