Waskita Ges Public Next Year: www.tempointeraktif.com, 19 January 2010 PT. Waskita Jaya has postponed its Initial Public Offering (IPO) until next year due to internal issues (miscalculation in accounting). To boost the company's performance, the government plans to allocate Rp.475 billion through Asset Management Company. Since 2008, Waskita has grown by 40 percent. In 2010, the company will be working on a Rp.12-trillion contract (Rp.5 trillion from last year's project, Rp.7 trillion from a new project), mostly related to road and highway constructions. Approximately 90 percent of the company's projects are assigned by the government. Foreign projects hold a mere 5 percent stake. In 2010, the company aims to book Rp.155 billion in net profit that is under the stipulation that funding from the asset management company has already been secured.
Waskita Baru to Hold IPO Next Year: www.tempointeraktif.com, 8 June 2009 PT. Waskita Karya Baru’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) is projected to take place on the fourth term of 2010 as the company is in the process of resolving its accounting issues.
