PT. Bumi Resources Tbk Minerals (BRMS) is ready to invest $ 240 million for capital expenditures in 2011. Proceeds will be used to expand its business in the mining of gold, jewels, diamonds, copper, iron ore, lead, and zinc.

In 2011 the Company set aside $ 35 million for gold mining projects in Gorontalo, $ 30 million to mine gold in Palu, and $ 35 million for the mining of gems and diamonds in Liberia, Africa.

Earth Minerals controls 96.67% stake in PT. Citra Palu Minerals and 80% of PT. Gorontalo Minerals. Citra Palu is the holder of the contract work of the gold mining area of 138,889 hectares in Central Sulawesi and South Sulawesi. Potential resources in the mine as much as 0.7 million ounces.

Gorontalo Minerals is a joint holder of the contract works of gold and copper mining area of 36,070 ha in the province of Gorontalo. Potential resources of gold and copper mine in each of the 2.5 million ounces and 2.1 billion pounds.
