The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas together with the Public Broadcasting Institution of the Republic of Indonesia Television (LPP TVRI) and LPP Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) officially signed a memorandum of understanding on "Cooperation on Dissemination of National Development Planning Through Broadcasting Programs", Monday (11/20). The signing of this cooperation was carried out to increase public participation in national development planning. "Dissemination of development issues needs to be disseminated to the public. TVRI and RRI are the spearheads of development dissemination. With good dissemination, it will make the public's knowledge system more qualified, because development issues and policies do not belong to the government, but the ownership of development policies belongs to everyone, collectively," explained the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa, in his remarks.

This cooperation covers various aspects, including education, campaigns, and invitations to participate in the national development planning agenda with the main focus covering the National Long-Term Development Plan 2025-2045, National Medium-Term Development Plan 2025-2029, Government Work Plan, revision of the National Capital Law, and other strategic issues. These agendas are very crucial for information to be disseminated optimally so that the public can participate actively. In line with Minister Suharso's statement, RRI President Director Ignatius Hendrasmo and LPP TVRI President Director Iman Brotoseno who were present to sign the memorandum of understanding also emphasized the importance of expanding the dissemination of development information as a key to encouraging public participation in the development agenda.
