Village Head of Pao, Muh Basri said that his citizens get the support to develop the tomato jam and is expected to advance the economic welfare of the majority of horticultural farmers.
Tomato jam was chosen to see the tomato results in Pao Village, which is very abundant and prices tend to decrease during the harvest. Therefore, this program is run to add economic value with different types of tomato processed. For the step, residents were accompanied by Bosowa University lecturers, among others, Indrayani Nur, Faridah, I Nyoman Mariantha, Syafri and several students. Faridah said that the community was also assisted in the product marketing process starting from packaging, distribution, until now Pao Village tomato jam has its own brand.
