The restructuring program of industrial machinery and equipment textiles and textile products, increasingly in demand by businesses. With the restructuring of machinery, businesses increasingly helped to improve competitiveness particularly in facing the ASEAN free market (MEA).

Director General of Small and Medium Enterprises, the Ministry of Industry, Euis Saedah explained the restructuring program has been conducted since 2009 and 2010 but only for textile products and leather tanning industry. A year later expanded its scope such as food and beverages.

In 2014, other SME sectors namely Industry wickerwork, wood crafts, metal goods, machinery and equipment, transport equipment, and jewelry industry. Program of revitalization and growth of the industry through the restructuring of industrial machinery and equipment textiles and textile products, leather tanning industry and footwear industry.

At Indonesia Apparel Production Expo (IAPE) Solo 2017, there will be many types of the latest sewing machines on display. This was conveyed by Aulia Sunhandhyka, Chief Executive Officer, as well as being in charge of IAPE Solo 2017 during a press conference at Solo Bistro.

IAPE 2017 is organized by More Media in collaboration with DPC PPGI Kota Surakarta and PRINTEX Apparel Business Magazine. This event is also supported by Association of Indonesian Textile of Central Java, KADIN of Surakarta City, and KNPI of Surakarta City. IAPE Solo 2017 was attended by 45 companies providing materials and clothing production machinery (garment, convection, screen printing).
