Lenovo Indonesia has the ambition to become the market leader of computer products in 2018 through a consumer-focused strategy. Budi Janto Country General Manager said, strategy of Lenovo Indonesia approach is customer-centricity, which focus on listening to customer feedback in order to produce a product that meets their needs.

Customer-centricity strategy pushes Lenovo globally to launch technology products other than PCs and handsets such as retail products, cloud computing and data centers. For the development of retail business in Indonesia, Lenovo partnered with the retailers or a local reseller, but still focusing the partnership with the customer-centricity base so that consumers in Indonesia get a good experience.

This year, Lenovo Indonesia experienced a significant increase in premium segment sales, both in the business PC category and gaming. This increase in the premium segment contributed positively to Lenovo Q2 revenue.

IBM Indonesia officially launched its new product, IBM LinuxOne in Indonesia. This is a hardware device to handle the company's heavy workload with total cost of ownership (TCO) or a much lower total cost of ownership than similar devices.

IBM Indonesia Country Manager Hardware, Tan Wijaya said that LinuxOne is here to answer the challenges of the IT world that are demanded to be very dynamic, safe and efficient both in terms of costs and utilization. This new IBM product will target the enterprise sector (company) and can be used for many industrial sectors ranging from banking, other financial industries, telecommunications, manufacturing and e-commerce. In marketing IBM LinuxOne, IBM Indonesia has referred to Blue Power Technology (BPT) as the sole distributor. The company's main focus this year is targeting telecommunications companies and banking.
