2 Multi-finance Companies Enters Sharia Market: Bisnis Indonesia, 23 June 2008 The sharia financing market now has two additional multi-finance companies, PT. Woka International Finance and PT. Nusa Surya Cipta Dana Finance.
Financing Asset Grows by 17.5 Percent: Bisnis Indonesia, 29 February 2008, page F11 The multi finance industry's total asset in 2007 has grown from Rp.108.34 trillion (2006) to Rp.127.76 trillion. According to the data issued by the Bank of Indonesia (per December 2007), the industries total asset has grown by 17.5 percent. The largest contribution of the asset was given by bank loans (Rp.83.7 trillion) and bonds (Rp.13 trillion). Presently, the financing industry in Indonesia relies heavily on leasing and consumer financing.
