Central Government Collaboration to Support the Acceleration of P3PD Implementation: https://www.kemenkopmk.go.id/kolaborasi-pemerintah-pusat-mendukung-percepatan-pelaksanaan-p3pd/28 October 2022

The Government Strengthening and Village Development Program (P3PD) was developed with the aim of improving the quality of village spending (APBDes) in each village. The implementation of P3PD is carried out through 3 components, in which the Coordinating Ministry for PMK and Bappenas play a role in carrying out coordination, monitoring and national policies for implementing the Village Law.

Deputy for Coordinating Equitable Regional Development and Disaster Management, Sudirman, Deputy Chair of the P3PD Steering Team held a discussion in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the Director General of Village Government Development Kemendagri Yusharto Huntoyungo, Deputy for Regional Development Bappenas Himawan Hariyoga Djojokusumo and representatives of the Ministry of Villages PDTT to discuss efforts to accelerate the implementation of P3PD. Several issues that need to be accelerated in the implementation of P3PD, namely P3PD activities in 2022, preparation of the Annual Work Plan Budget for the 2023 TA and general guidelines for implementing P3PD and a scheme of relations between parties.

On this occasion, Deputy Sudirman said that the implementation of P3PD must ensure consistency between policies which will be used as a reference by all implementing units at the central level. The role of Kemenko PMK is to oversee the implementation of the Village Law. "There will be at least 2 objectives in the national strategy for implementing the Village Law, namely bridging the targets set in the RPJMN with the Strategic Plans (Renstra) of Ministries/Institutions and consolidating the diversity of programs and actors mentioned in the Village Law, both the government and non-government" said Sudirman.

Currently the Ministry of Home Affairs is building and developing P3PD Portals and evaluating P3PD Professional HR in the Regions as an effort to reform the system of support, guidance and supervision of villages and regional governments through innovation in the development of information systems.
