Sekar Sea and South Korea build a spice factory: May 2011

Manufacturers of various types of food, Tbk PT. Sekar Sea (SKLT), will establish two new subsidiaries in collaboration with the South Korean company, Cheil Jedang Indonesia PT. In two new company that will operate in June, The Sekar Laut and Cheil Jedang invest as much of each $ 800,000.

Both Sekar Laut and Cheil Jedang will share the composition of the shares in two new companies. For Sekar Cheil Jedang Manufacturing, Sekar Laut gets 51 percent stake, while the remainder is taken Cheill Jedang. At Cheil Jedang Distrindo Lestari, the composition turned, Cheil Jeddang 51 percent, the remaining is for Sekar Laut.
Sekar Laut Expands Target Market:, 17 June 2010

Processed food manufacturer PT. Sekar Laut Tbk. has expanded its target market. Previously the company focused on the middle to upper -class market and the export market. Now, the company is also setting its sights on the middle to lower market. For that reason, the company is launching a number of new products such as onion chips and shrimp crackers in 100 - 125 gram package, sold for Rp. 2,500 per package.

PT. Sekar Laut Tbk. is the manufacturer of crackers, sauce and cooking sauces, under the brand Finna.
