Budi Acid allocated Rp200 billion in Capex: May 2011

PT. Budi Acid Jaya Tbk, a producer of cassava starch-based, allocate capital expenditure (capex) amounted to Rp.200 billion this year. Proceeds will be used for construction of tapioca factory in Madiun, East Java Rp.47 billion, amounting to Rp.85 billion for the construction of glucose factory in Solo, Central Java, and the remaining Rp.68 billion for regular expenditure of the company.

Funding sources 65% of bank loans and 35% from internal cash. Expenditure, all financed from internal cash. This year the company targets revenue of Rp.2, 5 trillion or an increase of approximately 20% compared to Rp.2, 1 trillion a year ago.

For net profit, the company target of Rp.140 billion, jumped 240% compared with last year's achievement of Rp.46 billion.

PT. Budi Acid Jaya (BUDI) booked Rp.1.75 trillion in revenue last year. It booked Rp.140 billion of net profit, an increase from 2008's Rp.32.98 billion net profit. For 2010, the company projects to book revenue Rp.2 trillion and Rp.150 billion net profit
