The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released Indonesia's economic growth / GDP in the second quarter of 2018 against the second quarter of 2017 increasing by 4.21 percent quarter to quarter (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the field of agriculture, forestry and fisheries business by 9.93 percent. Then, service companies amounted to 3.37 percent and other services amounted to 3.30 percent.
The structure of GDP and economic growth according to the business field in the second quarter of 2018 year on year (y-on-y) compared to the previous year, the agricultural sector was in the second position of GDP structure of 13.63 percent, with economic growth of 4.76 percent. Meanwhile, the industrial sector is ranked first in the structure of GDP at 19.83 percent, with economic growth lower by 3.97 percent.
