After Booking Rp.163.4 Billion Profit, Sumalindo Hesitates to Pay Debt to Pamolite

PT Sumalindo Lestari Jaya Tbk recently booked a profit of Rp.163.4 billion (US$ 17.22 million) as a result of successful debt restructures with its creditors. However, despite the success, the company still has yet to settle its debts with PT Pamolite Adhesive Industry (PAI). Per 29 April 2005, Sumalindo’s debt to Pamolite stood at US$ 1.4 million. In addition, Pamolite demanded that Sumalindo pay off its debts as soon as possible.
