The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) is expected to become authentication for Indonesia's automotive industry in the rapid development of the global automotive industry. In addition in 2012 Indonesia car production volume is expected to penetrate the million units, the number of participants IIMS 2012 brand continues to grow from year to year and the area exhibits a greater show that Indonesia is getting noticed by the world's automotive manufacturers. Organizers are also targeting the IIMS 2012 in the number of visitors this year to 350,000 people during the 10-day event, up from 323,000 visitors in 2011.

Minister of Industry (Industry) Saleh Husin optimistic by stretching the automotive industry of the country; the reason, industry players and global automotive companies continue to invest in Indonesia amid the world economic slowdown.

"Business and automotive investments that are long term, so the industrial activity and investments still go on, they not only orient a year or two years but for decades, "said Industry Minister Saleh Husin, Thursday (20/8).
