Radiant Utama’s 2006 Profit to Increase

PT Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk. net profit for 2006 is estimated to rise by 66.66 percent from Rp 15 billion (2004) to Rp 25 billion due to increasing income contribution from new mobile-offshore production unit (MOPU) projects in the last four months. With the estimated profit, the company might share a 20 to 30 percent dividend to its shareholders. The company is presently evaluating three new blocks in Sumatra. Through the expansion, the company projects its income to reach Rp 1 trillion by 2008.
Radiant Utama Shares Up 50 Percent

The shares of PT Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk have increased 50 percent, or Rp.125, to Rp.375 since its initial offering in the Jakarta Stock Exchange yesterday. The company, with a trade code of RUIS, recorded around 770 million shares with an offering price of Rp.250 per note. Not long after, the price grew to Rp.350 per note, then Rp.395 per note. Out of the 770 million shares, 600 belonged to the founder’s shares. The rest of the 170 million notes are owned by the public with a nominal of Rp100 per share. Radiant was the 6th company that listed its shares in 2006 and is recorded as the 339th company in the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
This year, the company aims at obtaining a net profit of Rp.25 billion, or up 78.5 percent, compared to its net profit all throughout 2005 as much as Rp.14 billion. In the past five years, the company has grown around 30 percent yearly.
