Carmelita : INSA Set Four Great Agenda to Realize The Maritime Industry: http://beritatrans.com/2015/08/13/carmelita-insa-geber-4-agenda-besar-kokohkan-industri-maritim/13 August 2015

Association of Shipowners National Commerce (Indonesian National Shipowners Association (INSA), set four major agenda in the fiscal sector to realize the maritime industry nationally, ie the removal of value added tax (VAT) on the purchase of fuel ships for domestic shipping, VAT on loading and unloading of goods on line international trade, the VAT for the crew, and VAT on the sale of vessels belonging to less than five years.

Chairman of INSA, Carmelita Hartoto said the four agenda is part of a program of tax incentives that have been granted by the government. One of them is the cancellation of the tax or final income tax of 1.2 percent of gross income. If the plan is not canceled, confirmed the national shipping industry will decline due to not being able to compete with foreign shipping. Because taxation is contrary to "The Maritime Poros" program which aims to promote marine or maritime sectors.
