The national forestry industry has the potential to become a leading sector again as long as it is supported by the government by creating and implementing a number of key policies.
Chairman of the Indonesian Forest Entrepreneurs Association (APHI), Sugiono said to restore forestry as a strategic sector of strategic importance required a number of government policy support.

The National Institute of Aeronautics and Space Administration is developing a third-generation satellite or LAPAN-A3 in cooperation with the Agricultural Institute of Bogor for monitoring agricultural areas.
Chief Thomas Jamaladin Lapan said LAPAN-A3 is expected following the successful development of the previous generation LAPAN-A1 in 2007 and LAPAN-A2 is officially released by President Joko Widodo today Thursday, September 3, 2015.
"A1 developed based experiments, A2 80% experiment and 20% operational. While A3 operational 40% monitor agricultural areas and detect vessel," Thomas said in a welcoming speech the release LAPAN-A2 / LAPAN-ORARI at the Center for Technology Lapan, Bogor, West Java.
